SANDBOX Gaming announced through their Twitter that they’ve extended the contract with coach Jo “Joker” Jae-eup. SANDBOX Gaming gave Joker high evaluations that his strategies and analyses were excellent.
Joker was with SANDBOX Gaming for a long time. From Challengers Korea to the LCK, he was active as a support. Through his shotcalling and performances, Joker contributed to SANDBOX Gaming reaching the playoffs in their first LCK season. Although the team struggled after his transition to a coach, Joker took a major role alongside Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi in SANDBOX Gaming’s turnaround in the second round of the summer split.
SANDBOX Gaming has been working on a new coaching staff early in the stove league. Earlier this month, they signed former DAMWON Gaming head coach, Kim “Micro” Mok-kyoung.
