WoW is adding two new pets, Sunny and Flurky as part of a new in-game shop item to help raise funds for Ukraine via BlueCheck.
Blizzard is dropping another charity drive in partnership with BlueCheck Ukraine. By purchasing the pack for $20 (or regional equivalent), you’ll be given two new pets, Sunny and Flurky.
Mila Kunis is part of the campaign due to her ties to World of Warcraft, and as she was born in Ukraine, she is working with BlueCheck. BlueCheck’s mission is to provide critical humanitarian relief in war-torn Ukraine. All proceeds from the sale will go to the fund during the July 25 to August 29th campaign length. We’d imagine the two pets will be added to the store or by other means later.
Sunny and Flurky
Sunny, is a golden retriever pet for World of Warcraft, and Flurky, is a lovely baby Murloc pet for Wrath of the Lich King Classic characters.
These special edition pets feature matching colors of the Ukrainian flag. Sunny will occasionally chase her tail or take a nap in between adventures. Flurky, the baby Murloc carries a sunflower, the national flower of Ukraine, and leaves a colorful flower trail wherever he toddles by your side.
Alongside the campaign itself, any World of Warcraft purchase via Battle.net will offer players the chance to make a donation to the BlueCheck Ukraine fund.
Sunny and Flurky will be added to your Pet Collection in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. For those in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, you’ll get the item from a short quest chain from the Innkeepers in any capital city, or from Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.
