Clive is a fun character to play as, but his outfit might not be to everyone’s taste. Most big games these days allow you to alter your appearance. There are classic Link outfits in TOTK, skins in most major games, even Spider-Man can shove a paper bag over his head. The base game depicting him largely in one outfit helps establish a canon look for Clive, much better for a heavily merchandised game like Final Fantasy. The New Game + could then allow fans to have a bit more fun with his appearance!
At the moment, we can’t change outfits in FF 16. You’ll just have to grow to love Clive’s main outfits in-game instead!
