After losing their undefeated record to the number 1 ranked Atlanta Reign, Houston have an opportunity to stabilize. Florida Mayhem are just as close to the top as them, and a win here would practically guarantee them a lock on the 2nd place position in the standings. Not only that, but it would be proof that they really are up at the top of the league with the Atlanta Reign, and could come up to overthrow them during the Midseason Madness.

Florida Mayhem haven’t had very tough opponents lately. Its about time they return up to their level, and fight for their spot. They’ve got plenty of talent, and absolutely have a chance at a win in this matchup, but they haven’t had the heat turned up on them lately like the Houston Outlaws have. Hopefully Florida have been doing scrims with the likes of Atlanta Reign to get the toughest possible practice leading into this matchup.
