CSGO ESL Pro League Season 16

Starting on September 14th, six teams from the C group of ESL Pro League Season 16 will commence their journey. Three teams are going to go through, while the bottom three teams are packing their bags as they will be eliminated.

Here are the six teams competing in group C of ESL Pro League Season 16:

  • ENCE
  • Heroic
  • Astralis
  • MOUZ
  • Complexity
  • HEET

There is a catch with the top three teams. A team that is able to seal the #1 spot is going to advance straight to the quarterfinals while the other two teams will start their playoff run in the round of 12. Every match in the group stage is played in the best of three format.

MOUZ VS HEROIC
In recent weeks, MOUZ upped their game a lot as they won four out of the last five matches played. On the other hand, Heroic is struggling right now as they only have two victories to their name in the last five matches played.

Map veto is going to be interesting to see in this one. We know that Dust 2 is always banned first by both teams which means someone is getting an extra ban for themselves. Mirage seems like a go-to choice for MOUZ in this one as they won it seven times straight. Heroic, on the other hand, will look for their chance on either Overpass or Nuke.

All in all, this is going to be a rough match for Heroic. They are struggling right now while MOUZ is on the rise. They will not get an edge over Frozen and his squad in the map veto department. Given the fact that betting sites are labeling Heroic as a big favorite in this one, we simply have to disagree with them on this one.

COMPLEXITY VS ASTRALIS
Despite finding success on the regional scene, Complexity was once again beaten badly by the best CSGO teams in the world. They are sitting on three straight defeats and once again, they are looking really bad.

Astralis, however, has four wins in the last six matches played. They are also used to beating Complexity as they only dropped two maps over the eight maps in total they played against them.

There is no real point talking about the map veto for this one as Astrlais will answer whatever Complexity decides to go for. Anything else but an easy 2-0 victory for the Danes would be a big surprise.

ENCE VS HEET
Lastly, ENCE will look for their way out of a slump against HEET. Right now, ENCE lost three straight games, but we have to give credit where credit is due, they only played against the top CSGO teams such as G2, Vitality, and FaZe. Contrary to that, HEET won four out of the last five played. They lost to Astralis, while beating Pusheens, xDDDD, 1WIN, and Benched Heroes.

This definitely sums up the lack of competition HEET had in their recent bouts and ENCE is going to be a hard nut for them to crack. Map veto is not favoring anyone in this match as both teams will get comfortable picks for themselves.

We understand that betting sites set their odds like this because one team is on the rise while the other is winless in recent matches. However, they did not take into account the competition they played against. This is going to be an easy match for ENCE and the odds are more than rewarding. With Group C kicking off very soon make sure you check out our CSGO betting page where you can find all the best sign up offers and free bets available.
